When the University of San Diego opened Fowler Park, its new $13.8 million state–of-the-art baseball stadium on Friday night February 15, the wow factor was palpable. Before the ceremonial first pitch was thrown out by lead donor Ron Fowler, everyone associated with the Toreros baseball program—players, coaches and fans—knew they were in one of the most beautiful ballparks in college baseball.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Protective padding will be installed at a Jackson recreation center after a 32-year-old man died after hitting a concrete wall during an indoor soccer game.
Teton County commissioners have unanimously approved $4,000 for the padding, which will be installed along the east and west ends of the gym.

Salisbury, NC Sept. 10, 2012—There are times when the requirements of athlete safety and stadium aesthetics just click. Such is the case at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium where Promats Athletics has installed 100 customized protective pads that look just like the brick walls they cover around the four corners of the historic home of Clemson football.
After providing the original one-color corner padding at Clemson in 2004, Promats was contacted about making new padding to cover a larger wall area around each end zone and the walls of the end zone spectator ramps for the 2012 season.

May was a banner month for Purdue Baseball. Fresh on the heels of their run to the Big 10 Championship title, the team was able to hold their first practice at their new baseball stadium, Alexander Field.
