University of Indianna Practice Facility Everywhere you turn these days the term "Going Green" is tossed around. Being environmentally conscious is important and it seems all sorts of companies are using it as the latest gimmick to sell their products. We at Promats® Athletics are not going green, we've been green and we're going to continue being green.

In 2009 we submitted our indoor padding products to be tested by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute and without making any changes to our long standing products nearly every one of them came back certified for GREENGUARD's Indoor Air Quality and its Children & Schools programs. We didn't have to go green, we simply were green.

Being green means that our indoor products have always been competitively priced and there's no premium for getting an environmentally conscious product. With Promats® pads on your walls you're already getting an industry leading indoor product that's top quality and now, GREENGUARD Certified.

Our PlayersGoal® line of products also employ as many environmentally friendly manufacturing methods as possible while maintaining our industry competitive pricing. All of our goals, ball safety system poles, turf groomers, and fencing products use powder coated paint. Powder Coating a product such as a football goal uses less chemical emissions and hazardous pollutants than traditional paint methods. In addition the overspray can be collected and recycled.

Taking it to the next level:

With the public consciousness growing and higher demand for environmentally friendly products, we took the initiative to create a line of padding that was produced from primarily recycled materials that would still meet our high standards of a safe, high quality pad. Thus the EnviroZone® line was introduced in 2008 and an indoor version of the line is in development.

EnviroZone® takes a moisture resistant composite wood backer board and combines it with an expanded polypropylene beaded foam to provide better protection, durability, and moisture handling than standard plywood and polyurethane foam can. We're so confident in the durability of this product we offer a 5 year limited warranty as compared to our standard 1 year warranty on the BaseZone® line of stadium padding.
